Pretyman

Pretyman are a chaotic 7 piece with a performance from the depths of an acid trip. They go beyond what you expect to see from a grassroots band and express themselves to the max on stage. Don’t let it fool you however, like a post-punk Primus they have some heavy hitters that stick to your brain like hot glue

Their songs are lead by beautifully whacky story telling, introducing us to characters such as Eddie the Hag who is impersonated by the crunching guitars and synth, as well as the intricate off beat rhythms played in and out of unison by all members

Having spoken to them pre and post show, it’s refreshing to see a band so well represented by their music, whether they embody their music or it embodies them I’m not sure, but it’s safe to say they’re a good match for each other
