Far From Presents: 23/11/23

On the 23rd of November we hosted the last Far From of 2023 at the Avalon Cafe. A night of art, fashion , and music. This was our first endeavour into merging mediums and practices under the same roof. We had four artists, India Adams, Uma Dehaan and Grace Dudzicki showcasing their work as well as fashion brands Not Just Trash and Planet Sophie running pop up shops.

Having these artists and designers celebrated alongside a night of powerful live music was special. our intentions at Far From are to blur the lines between mediums and unite lots of different aspects of creativity. So this night was an important one for us, as it is the first time we have successfully done so.

With that being said, we are certainly just at the beginning of our investigation to mixed media events. There were many lessons learnt from this show that we aim to take forward into future events. Our hunger to make our events more of an art experience in themselves has grown and sparked many ideas… stay posted!
